Deposit Terms & Conditions
A booking deposit is a nonrefundable sum of money that is mandatory for securing an appointment and is always credited towards the total cost of your tattoo. This deposit is essential to cover preliminary work conducted before your appointment and to ensure that our schedule accommodates your session. Additionally, it helps offset any inconvenience caused in the event of appointment rescheduling or cancellation.
Deposit Amounts:
For tattoos with an estimated cost below $250, a $50 deposit is required for booking.
For tattoos with an estimated cost exceeding $250, a $100 deposit is required for booking.
Rescheduling Policy:
One Reschedule per Deposit: You are allowed one reschedule of your appointment per deposit. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. This allows me to adjust my schedule and potentially accommodate other clients.
Failure to Notify: Failure to provide adequate notice for a rescheduled appointment may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Special Events or Conventions: If you are booking an appointment during a special event or convention, there will be no rescheduling allowed. In the event of an event cancellation, Ash will work with you to consider different options.
Emergency or External Circumstances: In the event of uncontrollable circumstances such as hurricanes, building malfunctions (like air conditioning failure), or other unforeseen issues, Ash will work with you to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
Deposit Expiration:
Deposits for appointments canceled with no reschedules will expire three months from the date of cancellation. After this period, the deposit will no longer be valid or applicable to any future appointments.
Multi-Session Tattoos:
In cases where a tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be applied towards the final session.
Nonrefundable and Nontransferable:
Nonrefundable: All deposits are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred between different tattoo designs or clients. Once paid, the deposit is solely allocated to the scheduled appointment and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Appointments Involving Two or More Clients:
If you have scheduled a tattoo appointment involving two or more clients, the deposit will be allocated to the individual named on the appointment. It will not be transferred without written client permission and is subject to Ash’s discretion.
For Drawing Proof Appointments:
The deposit for drawing proof is intended to offset the drawing cost for your tattoo. It is non-refundable and non-transferable between designs or clients. While it won’t be refunded if the client opts not to proceed with the tattoo, it will be credited towards the tattoo once the appointment is completed.
